Mientras se confirma que el cantante de los Rolling Stones, Keith Richards, interpretará al padre del Capitán Sparrow en la tercera aventura de Piratas del Caribe, y esperamos el estreno de la segunda parte, el personaje de Johnny Depp se confirma como una mina de oro. Esta vez se trata de 'Jack Sparrow' como marca registrada de Disney.
Si tu primo se llama Jack Sparrow y pretende lanzar al mercado un zumo de frutas silvestres o un nuevo water con reposabrazos, que se olvide de la marca 'Jack Sparrow'.

Madre mía sí que emplean el nombre sí. La mitad de las cosas ni sé lo que son jeje. Desde luego Disney sabe aprobechar bien sus puntos fuertes.

La verdad es que a veces resulta un poco chocante enfrentar la contradicción de que algo que nos apasiona tanto como el cine no deja de ser, en el 99% de las ocasiones, puro negocio... Y sin embargo, uno no puede prescindir de él.
¡Maldita sea, estamos enganchados!
Hombre, tanto como el 99% no diria yo, pero esta claro que mucho cine es un negocio...pero lo que importa es que las peliculas que veamos nos gusten, digo yo. Tambien es un negocio la musica, incluso la pintura o la escultura...todo cuesta mucho y da dinero, lo unico que el cine esta adaptado en gran medida al gran publico, y eso hace que se note mas.

Totalmente de acuerdo, John. De hecho, he leído hoy una entrevista con Víctor Erice y Abbas Kiarostami, en la que Erice veía como algo terrible que el cine hubiese entrado en los museos; para él, el cine es algo popular, y siente nostalgia del cine popular inteligente (una declaración cuanto menos curiosa viniendo de un director que muchas veces ha sido tachado de elitista). Quizá sea esa faceta industrial la que ha permitido que sea, precisamente, un arte popular.
Y sí, me uno a los gritos de búsqueda de Marnie: ¿dónde está Noa?
